Papers of the Long, Chauncey, Magee and allied families of Virginia contain photographs of an aerial view of Newport News, Va., and of Wayne Byers Chauncey at the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Va. The collection also contains genealogical materials; a portrait of Annie H.V. Long; a pen and ink drawing; an 1867 Bible of Mary B. Leiper; and a noncombatant gas mask. There is also a letter, September 25, 1917, from Woodrow Wilson to J.F.L. Long congratulating him on having five family members in the Army and Home Guards.
