Hoof 'n' Horn Student Musical Theater Company was formed in 1939 at Duke University. The organization's purpose is to provide amateur theater to the Duke University and Triangle Area communities, to serve as an educational vehicle to provide practical experience in all aspects of musical theater, and to be responsible for all necessary assets for the production of shows which it sponsors.
