Letter, 1877 November 6, Roxbury [Mass.] to [John Ward Dean].

Handwritten letter to an unnamed correspondent in which Garrison contributes to a biographical sketch of William B. Towne. As this sketch appeared under John Ward Dean's name in the N.E.H.G. Register 32[1878]:9-20, and quotes from the letter verbatim, Dean is certainly the correspondent.
