Personality photograph collection, 1820-2003.

Contains the following types of materials: photographs, prints. General description of the collection: The Personality collection is composed primarily of official portrait photographs of United States (U.S.) Army officers and some notable enlisted personnel. Some files contain images of personnel in the field or participating in social activities, award ceremonies, or other events. Individual photographs of U.S. Army War College (USAWC / AWC) faculty members, students, international fellows, and their spouses (taken from the 1970s to date) form a large portion of the collection. The collection also includes some U.S. presidents, other civilian officials, notable U.S. officers from other branches of service, high-ranking foreign officers, and civilians.
