The collection consists of a handwritten letter to Colonel Minnigerode, 12 Dec. 1927. Russell writes to decline an invitation, citing the pending school term and the weather. The invitation was presumably to meet Emil Ludwig, and Russell mentions having read and admired his Napoleon.
