Papers include a letter from Benjamin Franklin to Mr. Bollan written in London, Aug. 17, 1773; a note with a copy for 1,500,000 livres payable to France, borrowed by Franklin for the United States, Apr. 10, 1782; a deed for a tract of Depreciation Lands called "Broughton", sold originally to Richard Bache who released it to Franklin, Nov. 1, 1787; and an 1876 facsimile of Franklin's first newspaper, The New England Courant, published Feb. 4, 1723.
