Contains information pertaining to the following military unit and organization: Intelligence Branch, United States (U.S.) Army Reserve. General description of the collection: The Harold J. Gordon papers include officer's and historian's papers. The collection of documents include German intelligence reports and summaries from the Eastern Front; Russian tactics, organizations, weapons, munitions, uniforms, insignia, decorations, field fortifications, and after action summaries; and daily operational summaries. Also included are newspaper clippings of prominent Axis officers most of which are of Eastern Front action. Material consists largely of photostatic copies of captured German language documents.
