This collection of papers is contained in one archival box. There is a bound scrapbook that has items such as news clippings, invitations, small brochures of European traveling itineraries, and even several dinner menus that were handed out to those traveling by train (in one case on the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Company, in 1927). There are also some papers, correspondences, class lecture notes, and some personal information on Dr. Fradenburgh (his obituary), etc.

Dr. Adelbert Grant Fradenburgh (1868-1936) was born on a farm near Point Peninsula, New York. As a youngster, his family moved to the town of Oil, Pennsylvania. Fradenburgh attended Oil City High School and went on to earn his B.A. from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., in 1886. While in college, he took up fencing and became a tennis champion. Fradenburgh did some postgraduate work at Johns Hopkins and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1894 where he played football. Fraden...
