Henry Milton Woodburn papers, 1925-1974.

The papers of Dr. Henry Milton Woodburn document his long career as a researcher, professor of chemistry, chairman of the Department of Chemistry, and Dean of the Graduate School at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Papers include material pertaining to sponsored research, lecture notes, research notes and reports, theses and dissertations written by his students (including research notes of Chen Ming Chih), letters of recommendation for former students, and files relating to University and state-wide committees. Also includes books and publications, some written by Dr. G.H. Cartledge, then chairman of the Chemistry Department of UB, and some co-authored by Woodburn, as well as memorabilia of Woodburn's academic cap and gown.
