John D. Woodward missionary journals, 1954-1957.

Contains two missionary journals of John D. Woodward during his two-and-a-half year mission to West Germany from 1954 to 1957. The mission journals chronicle his experiences as a missionary, as well as provide a glimpse into life in Germany after the Second World War. John was very consistent about keeping a journal, so the journals are inclusive of all the days of his mission.
