The records of the North Carolina State University Silver Wings (Angel Flight) chapter contain four scrapbooks and one folder of miscellaneous photographs. Scrapbooks include photos, correspondence and cards, fliers, pamphlets, and miscellaneous ephemera, mostly documenting the social activities of Angel Flight members. Angel Flight members worked in conjunction with the Air Force R.O.T.C. program to encourage male students to volunteer for military service.

Interest in forming a chapter of Angel Flight at NC State began in 1961, but it was not until 1964 that enough women pledged for an official chapter to be granted.
