Genealogical record of some descendants of Amos Clark of Hampstead, N.H., through his son, Moses Clark, who married Molly Gile, daughter of Jonathan Gile and wife Lydia Colby. Includes a brief account of Molly (Gile) Clark's life, death, and character, written probably by her son Amos. Information is given on several of her children, in particular her son Amos Clark who married Betsy Hardy. Amos's children are recorded, as are his grandchildren through sons Roswell L. and George W. Clark. Vital statistics on other Clarks are scattered throughout the volume. The front portion of this volume contains what appear to be student records: names, number of lessons, number of verses, and tallies. This may be a log of scholars's progress in religious instruction, as many questions on Bible passages are written out.
