Raymond S. Alvarez collection, 1917-1969.

The collection contains a photocopied letter from Alvarez, 15 March 1966, to Professor Wells Keddie detailing his childhood growing up in a village erected by the Bethlehem Steel Company called "The Labor Camp" to house the Mexican laborers; Alvarez's handwritten story about a man who exacted revenged against a foreman who kicked and fired his father; a photocopied article about Alvarez from Labor herald, 28 May 1969; a photocopy of the Steel Workers Organizing Committee report of dues collected, May 1938; and 51 SWOC buttons, cards, caps, and armbands, 1817-1937, collected by Alvarez.
