Morse writes Stockdale, the London bookseller and publisher, concerning his Geography and publication problems with his Gazetteer. He discusses party disagreements over Jay's treaty, mentioning Hamilton's "masterly defense" and that the "President stands like a Rock agains the storms which are beating against him."
