Negative taken for December 13, 1964, Arkansas Gazette article "A Check on an Important Project," E5:2. The 65 acre 'pilot forest' near the Heinke place in the Mabelvale community in Pulaski County, Arkansas, about 10 miles southwest of Little Rock. The 'pilot forest' is in its 6th year in which the land owners and the International Paper Company are co-operating. It is a scientific experiment to increase wood production - both saw timber and pulp.
