Beebe, pertaining to general and special orders, officers' appointments and resignations, supplies and training facilities, the Astoria fishermen's strike (1896), and Beebe's appointment as brigadier general of the Oregon National Guard; general and special orders (1888-1895); regimental court of discipline records (1888, 1893), including notices, summonses, proceedings, and findings; and bills, receipts, and vouchers (1888-1896). Also contains "Oregon's Official Roster" (1898), compiled by Amelie de F. Smith, listing the officers and volunteers of the Second Oregon Volunteer Infantry during the Spanish-American War. Correspondents include William R. Ellis, Thomas H. Tongue, George W. McBride, and John H. Mitchell.
