The Dacotah Custom Shirt Shop was opened circa 1919 in Grand Forks, North Dakota by Edwin M. Rosenquist. In August 1920, Rosenquist transferred the mortgage to E.J. Lander & Co., who were to act as the trustee of a creditors fund established to aid Rosenquist. Several people ran the shop: Nettie Stinson, Isabel Bjelde and Louise Stavig, Belle Kolstad, and Mrs. Dorbyshire.
