Taliaferro was sending fifty dollars to the student fund, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He adds "The Eutaw Place Church want you so much that they can not think of any body else, and they have no hope that you will leave the Seminary for them, so they are in a pitiable condition." [Richard Fuller, pastor of Eutaw Place Church died in October, 1876. Cf. Encyclopedia of Southern Baptists, v.1, p. 514].
