Hubert Pierre Herrick (1827-1857) and his wife Julia Bushnell Herrick, were posted to the Gaboon Mission by the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. The Herricks served as missionaries to the Nengenenge outpost of the Gaboon Mission until the middle of 1855 when both had failures of health and were forced to return to the United States.
