Correspondence, bulletins, reports, applications, allotment reports, newsletters, booklets, lists and forms. Correspondence of William Campbell, John Alsup and Morgan County school superintendents discussing policy changes, increase or decrease in funds or specific needs of a school. Bulletins from the NYA discussing policy such as age or injury. Reports from the schools give the number, sex and race of the student, the job done, the number of hours worked and where the students spent their money and how much at each place. There are hearing and vision reports on most of the students in Morgan County. Report on school lunch program tells how money is spent and gives a sample menu. Allottment reports of the Program tell where money is being given and how much. There are some Morgan County school newsletters. Booklets on student work procedures and NYA rules. Lists of students and forms used by NYA in the School Aid Program.

The School Aid Program, as part of the National Youth Administraation, was established in 1935 by executive order of President Roosevelt, as part of the WPA, in order to help needy youth who wanted to continue their education, and to prevent them from competing with older workers for jobs, was directed by William Campbell in Illinois with John Alsup as regional director for Morgan county.
