Recueil de plusieurs memoires touchant la finance de la Compagnie des Indes : ca. 1727.

This manuscript volume concerns the finances of France in the period 1720-1727, during and following the activities of John Law. It is mainly concerned with the situation of France following the collapse of Law's financial system in 1720, and it seems likely that the material was compiled by those who were opposed to Law's ideas. The collection contains copies of thiry-six items which deal with royal expenditures and income, the revenue and commerce of the colonies, and include letters, memoirs, statistics, etc.
