Diaries, 1927-1966.

Diaries, 1942-52, of Charles Shannon Hand, and those, 1927-66, of his wife Edna. Hand's diaries reflect his long association with Democratic politics in New York. In 1950 he was appointed Borough Works Commissioner by Robert F. Wagner, Manhattan Borough President. The diaries of his wife are primarily concerned with her luncheon engagements, shopping trips, etc.
