Manuscript text of a sermon delivered by minister Matthew Lawrence at the wedding of William Armyne, Jr. and Anne Chase at Chilton, Suffolk in 1649. This volume is a fine copy made for the father of the groom, Sir William Armyne, baronet, and is written in an imitation of print by John Raymond of London. A later owner has written notes on the text and fists in the margins throughout the volume.
