Snapshots of family members, friends, homes, and scenery on outings. Locations include the Kansas towns of Miltonville and Manhattan, Hugo and other locations in Colorado, Oakdale (California), and the vicinity of Precott, Arizona. Views include the family homestead farm outside Hugo (Colo.), the Big Sandy River, the town of Hugo, the Garden of the Gods and Pike's Peak. California views include family homes in Oakdale (Calif.), the Panama Pacific International Exposition, trips to the redwoods and on the coast, and the Don Pedro dam and reservoir. Also present are views from a trip to Arizona, chiefly in the vicinity of Prescott. People are often pictured in automobiles or on horseback. Several views include people in influenza masks. Alva Bacher is identified several times.
