Rolland Harper Maybee was born on January 6, 1901 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Harper C. Maybee (1876-1954) and Blanche Maybee (1879-1970). Maybee was a history professor at CMU. The Clarke Historical Library has several of his publications and his papers. The Advisory Committee developed plans for major events, publications, re-dedications of campus buildings, presentations, and a historical marker for CMU's 75th Anniversary.
