Map of the Strait of Magellan, Tierra del Fuego, and the southern coasts of the Falkland Islands. Includes the navigation routes of two ships, neither through the Strait. The route of the Maurepas, commanded by "Monsieur de la Verune, Lieutenant des Vaisseaux du Roy," is shown through Le Maire Strait and past Cape Horn in 1706. The 1707-1708 track of another ship, "en Compagnie de la Toison d'Or," is shown between Tierra del Fuego and the southern Falklands.
