North Dakota Swedish Baptist Church Records, 1918-1950.

The North Dakota Swedish Baptist Church Records contain photocopies of minutes and histories. The minutes (1918-1929), from the Swedish Baptist Conference of North Dakota, include programs for annual meetings and reports by missionaries and the executive committee. The minutes of the annual meetings were published in Svenska Standaret, the official organ of the Swedish Baptist General Conference of America, published in Chicago. In the 1930s, Eric Berg visited and recorded the histories of eight Swedish Baptist churches in North Dakota: Coleharbor, Deapolis, Drayton, Fargo, Kenmare, Kulm, Minot, Napoleon. Two additional histories include: "Kulm N. Dak. Swedish Baptist Church: Historical Sketch" by A. E. Bowman, and "Fiftieth Anniversary Memorial Book: First Baptist Church, Kenmare, N.D., 1900-1950." Photographs portray Swedish American residents in Kulm, ND.
