Letter from Samuel Hopkins Adams addressed to "Dixie", asking her to investigate advertising "the copies of Life" (presumably his Life of Henry Foster, M.D.) in Publishers Weekly and The Bookman; Adams remarks that his agent, Carl Brandt, "thinks that the Century volumes probably haven't much value."
