This collection consists of ten letters sent to Henry and one business letter Henry wrote (dated May 23 1901) to William [Harvey] Jones of Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Jones was a lawyer who worked in the Law Firm of Booth, Keating, Peters & Butler. There are five letters from Henry's Mother, Caroline (Pritchard) Mirick, written between 1855-1866; a May 21, 1863 letter from Henry's Father, Charles Mirick, and a Dec 12 1865 letter from his Brother, George Mirick, all concerning family matters. There are two letters by J[efford] M. Decker [Lt. Col. 10th Regt.] (dated April 21 1861 and May 27 1861) sent to Adj Henry concerning Companies A and B. Finally, there is a business letter to Henry (dated April 7, 1902) from T[homas] J. Keating of Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Keating was a Partner of the law firm Booth, Keating, Peters & Butler.
