Autograph letters signed from W.H. Murray, Edinburgh, to various recipients [manuscript], 1825-1837.

Recipients: Robert Cadell and unidentified recipient. (1), to "Sir" and written from the Theatre Royal, Edinburgh, concerns an upcoming engagement of Mrs. Siddons. (2), to Cadell, refers to his disappointment that the King had decided not to visit the Theatre Royal due to a report that "dramatic amusements were not much estimated by the Scotch." Anticipating a great blow to the cause of theatre, he solicited the assistance of Sir Walter [Scott?], who took up the case immediately.
