Autograph letter signed from Edward J.H. O'Brien, New York City, to Mr. Platt, Boston [manuscript], 1909 September 18.

Recipient is possibly Isaac Hull Platt. Letter concerns known copies of Horae subseciuae. In a note at the bottom of the letter, O'Brien adds "I hardly think the book one of the plagiarisms B[acon] complains of, as B[acon] complains in 1597, and H[orae] s[ubseciuae] was published in 1620 if I remember rightly." Written on letterhead ("America, 82 Washington Square, W., New York City") with the address 118 Charles St., Boston, Mass. in the lower left corner.
