(1), written on letterhead of Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois and addressed to a Mr. [W.?] Abbott, indicates that Miller is happy to add her voice in a good cause. A postscript, dated May 8, alludes to the advice Miller has given women who have asked her about investments. (2), written to Mrs. Clara S. Ellis from Boonton, New Jersey, refers to a copy of a poem from Miller's "For the beloved" for use in Ellis' "What's next."
