Expressing a feeling of regret that his "lot in life has hitherto so much estranged" him from his nephews and nieces; noting that his book [Aids to reflection] is about to come out and he hopes to present a copy to the Bishop of London; asking what parts of Ovid's works are read at Eton because he wants to teach Latin verse to Henry [Gillman?].
