Senta Jonas Rypins diaries, 1908-1965.

Ten five-year "line a day" diaries, with photographs, clippings, and other items pasted or laid in. The original diaries date back to 1910 and end in 1965. There is also a typescript transcript of the 1908 diary. She writes about her family; school life; love of music, books, and theater; love of nature; and world events. Also, copies of articles by Mr. and Mrs. Rypins, and materials about a family reunion.

Senta Jonas Rypins (1894-1966) was born in New York City, attended Ethical Culture schools and Barnard College and lived in New York until her marriage to Harold L. Rypins (1892-1939), who became the Secretary of the State Board of Medical Examiners in Albany.
