Sawyer letters, 1910-1912.

Letters, written by Sawyer to his mother, from Bisbee and Oracle while he was a mine manager, 1910-1912. He recounts social and professional contacts and activities. Many letters describe his work at a particular location, as well as informal assessments of the viability of the sites. There is also some commentary on Arizona politics. He comments on his boss, James Douglas, and his Oracle neighbor, William F. Cody.
