Peter Francis Nabokov was born on October 11, 1940, in Auburn, N.Y. He received his B.S. from Columbia University in 1965, and his M.S. from Goddard College in 1973. Nabokov worked on the Navajo, Sioux, and Crow reservations in 1962. He was a reporter for the Santa Fe New Mexican from 1967-1968. Nabokov has held many teaching positions, including instructor in American Indian Studies at Peninsula College, Monterey, Ca. in the 1970s, instructor at University of California, Berkeley from 1979-1982...
