This folder contains a table of the city of Boulder water supply as of 1 May 1956, a "proposal for smog free city" by Weather Engineering Inc. (Denver, Colo.) which refers to the high winds at Boulder, and a notice dated 7 Apr. 1978 from the National Bureau of Standards (Boulder, Colo.) that it would no longer function as climatological observer for the National Weather Service in the Boulder area.

From 1947 until 1970, the official observations of weather in Boulder were made under the direction of the Boulder fire chief, at the central fire station. The Boulder Fire Department also maintained a weather station at the South Side Fire Station starting in July 1958.
