Records, 1907-1982.

This collection contains selected records of Fidelity Mutual Savings Bank largely reflecting the last decades of operations preceding its forced merger with First Interstate. Both Frank S. and Edwin J. McWilliams, as presidents, were active in state and national savings bank associations and in civic affairs. In some cases personal McWilliam Family papers are intermingled. Bankground materials on mutual savings banks used in the John Fahey manuscript commissioned by E.J. McWilliams for the bank's 75th anniversary (which did not occur due to the merger) are included.
