Oral history interview of USCG veteran Glen Boles, including descriptions of his activities as a young man growing up in Hollywood, Calif., and acting in films; his roles in Broadway plays; joining the USCG after the attack on Pearl Harbor; intelligence gathering at a radio monitoring station in Recife, Brazil, an operation designed to intercept Nazi radio communications to South America; and studying and graduating from Columbia University under the G.I. Bill, leading to his practice as a psychoanalyst.
