Student activism records, 1965-1972 (bulk 1969-1970).

The collection contains student organization publications, press clippings, press releases, court documents, transcripts of hearings, and administratively-generated materials. The Douglass Association (renamed the Black Student Union in 1969) file contains a copy of the banned newspaper, the Garfield Thomas water tunnel, and a transcript of the obscenity trial resulting from banning the paper. Also, includes the 1970 hearing transcripts of the Woodside Commission findings, and documentation of 1969-1972 protests, riots, and sit-ins.
