Records, 1939-1987 (bulk 1950-1981).

The contents, correspondence, agendas, meeting minutes, charter, etc. generally cover the period 1950 through 1981, although there are scattered documents both before and after those dates. The collection is generally arranged first by items pertaining to the Student Publications Board and then by divisions pertaining to the various publications under the control of the Board. In some cases the materials are noted as being "mixed," e.g., "Financial Data, Mixed." In these cases the materials will include two or more publications and/or materials concerning various administrative data that does not specifically pertain to a given publication, e.g., administrative office expenses and payrolls. Throughout the collection there may be scattered data missing and no claim is made that the collection is a complete written record for the period covered. The collection includes photographs from 1966-1970 for use in the University yearbook, Mirage. The photographs are of people, University sports, buildings, etc. There are copies of various student publications, such as the Thunderbird, Juggler, Gadfly, and the Roadrunner. Also included is information from 1955-1974 concerning the Journalism Building addition.
