NATO Mixed Manning Demonstration : scrapbooks, 1963-1965 [microform]

Three sequential scrapbooks containing official correspondence, press clippings, photographs, and memorabilia pertaining to the 1964-1965 cruise of the destroyer USS Claude V. Ricketts (formerly the USS Biddle) under Commander Thomas E. Fortson, who oversaw a crew gathered from seven NATO navies as part of the Multilateral Force (MLF) initiative. First scrapbook includes operations during 1963 and 1964 aboard USS Biddle (DDG-5) prior to the Mixed Manning assignment and subsequent renaming as USS Claude V. Ricketts in July 1964.
