Indenture, Oct. 26, 1681, written on vellum, from William Penn, proprietor of Pennsylvania, to William Jenkins, of Tenby in the county of Pembroke, Wales, in which Jenkins purchases 1,000 acres in Pennsylvania for £20 and an annual quitrent.
