The collection consists of three letters of Richard Henry Wilde, the first dated Washington, D.C., January 21, 1816, to John W. Wilde in Augusta, Georgia refers to correspondence between the Secretary of State and the Spanish Minister and to speeches of Mr. Randolph. The other two letters, dated Oct. 30 and 31, 1834, to Tristam Burges (Providence, R.I.) and Littleton W. Tazewell (Richmond, Va.), refer to Wilde's research into the history of paper money before and after the Revolution.
