Letter to David Brydie Mitchell, [between 1817 and 1821].

The collection consists of a letter from Henry Jackson dated February 8, between 1817 and 1821 to General David B. Mitchell, agent for Indian affairs near Milledgeville, Georgia. The letter states that Jackson saw Mr. Warren in Philadelphia who sent with Jackson a package for Mitchell consisting of two treatises on agriculture and a box of seeds. Jackson also states that he is on his way to Athens and will do everything in his power to forward the interests of the university.
