Map of the invasion of the Spanish port of Fernandina on Amelia Island, Florida, undertaken to enforce shipping embargoes prior to the War of 1812. Shows positions of eight U.S. ships and nine galleys crewed by irregular militia from the short-lived Republic of Florida. Numbered key includes notes describing the coordinated actions of forces led by U.S. naval officer Hugh G. Campbell and General George Mathews, forcing the surrender of the Spanish garrison commanded by captain Justo López.
