Sonoran and Sinaloan Imprints, 1824-1873.

Documents, mostly proclamations, from the State and Municipal Governments of Occidente, Sinaloa, and Sonora which demonstrate the mechanics of setting up the new governments; there are proclamations dealing with law and legislation, the judicial system, treasury, military and other departments as well as letters, decrees and memos. Most documents are from Municipal Governments and were issued chiefly from Mazatlan and Culiacan. Government officials issuing the proclamations include Manuel Maria Bandera, Francisco Duque, and Rafael de la Vega.
