Hunter Stephen Moles collection, 1908-1925.

Summary: Collection consists of diaries kept by Moles from the age of 17 in 1908 to the age 35 in 1925. His entries offer observations on the places he lived and worked, including agriculture and social conditions in Colorado and New Mexico in the early 20th century. Also within the collection are magazine and newspaper clippings kept in the diaries and one account ledger from 1909.

Moles was born and raised in Colorado, where he attended Colorado Agricultural College, now Colorado State University. He later moved to New Mexico where he worked as a County Agricultural Agent in Aztec and an administrator at New Mexico Agricultural College (now New Mexico State University) in Las Cruces.
