Aside from a number of translations and imitations of Horace, Anacreon, etc., the contents consist mainly of original pieces, chiefly light and occasional. It appears almost certain that the writer was an Irishman living in Dublin. On leaves 60-1 is an "Epilogue to Henry the Fourth Spoken by Sir John Falstaffe & Boy attending with Wine."
