Stitching a family together, 2005.

Keller describes the process and importance of quilting in her family. She describes the quilting philosophy of her great-grandmother, Opal Emerick Baumann, who lived in South Dakota and adopted the symbols of the Lakota tribe into her quilts. She describes the persistence of this family tradition through generations and emphasizes the virtues of hard work, industry, and patience in an era where technology is endangering these values.
